Curing Characteristics

1. 1.The mixing ratio of XD-02 with water and temperature greatly affect gel time and strength.
   Water volume is proportional to gel time.
   A simple test before use is recommended to achieve optimal performance.

3. 2.The cured expanded material resists weak acids and weak bases, and is compatible with asphalt joint fillers, concrete, etc.

5. 3.When XD-02 PU waterstop is used below groundwater level, excessive water may cause oversaturation and poor sealing.
   After the first injection and foaming, inject 2–3 more times to fill voids in the foam.

Construction Method

I. Structural Crack Leakage Treatment

1. 1.Drill 45° inclined holes 5–10 cm to the left or right of the lowest point of the construction joint, to 2/3 of the structural thickness.
   Drill from low to high. Recommended hole spacing: 15–30 cm.
   Install injection packers all at once after drilling to the highest point.

3. 2.After installing packers, use a Gaya injection machine to inject waterstop from bottom to top until the material overflows from the structural surface, then proceed to other packers.

5. 3.One hour after water stopping, cut off the injection packers.
   If any material inside is not fully foamed, wait until complete curing, then fill the hole with sealant.
   

II. Honeycomb Leakage Treatment

1. 1.Drill holes every 25–30 cm within the honeycomb area, to 2/3 of the structural thickness.
   Install and secure grouting packers, then inject waterstop with a high-pressure grouting machine.

3. 2.Start injection from the lowest packer. After the honeycomb is filled and hardened by the foamed waterstop and material overflows from the surface, continue injecting upwards in sequence.
   The reaction between waterstop and water will fill all fine cracks, completely resolving leakage.

5. 3.One hour after water stopping, remove the injection packers.
   If any material inside is not fully foamed, wait until complete curing, then fill the hole with sealant.
