2. Grouting – Leak Stoppage Applications
Specially used for large-scale water leakage stoppage projects including:
expansion joint leakage, settlement joint leakage, tunnel leakage, mine shaft leakage, civil air defense leakage stoppage, dam leakage repair, etc.
3. Grouting – Structural Strengthening Applications
Floor hollowing, crack reinforcement, bridge and other structural strengthening projects.
II. Operating Rules for Expansion Joints
- 1.Locate the leaking part of the expansion joint.
- Drill 26 mm grouting holes at the leakage, 5–10 cm from the expansion joint,
- 2.at an inclined angle of 45° (angle can be adjusted according to wall thickness) to reach the joint cavity. Typical hole spacing: 50 cm – 100 cm.
- 3.Insert and fix cement mortar packers firmly into the drilled holes.
- 4.Determine grouting pressure and volume based on actual conditions.Use the SL-700 cement mortar grouting machine to inject cement mortar (particle size ≤ 2 mm) into the expansion joint. When mortar emerges from adjacent areas, move to the next hole and grout under set pressure until the joint is fully filled. Then turn off the power and close the valve.
- 5.Clean the machine after use. After daily operation, thoroughly clean the hopper, hoses, packers and screw connectors to ensure proper next use.
- 6.After the mortar in the expansion joint is fully cured, remove the packers, seal the holes with fast-setting cement, and apply SL-200 waterproof coating.
III. Spraying Operating Rules
- 1.Before startup, pour clean water into the hopper. Turn on the electric drill to circulate and moisten the pipeline, then drain the water.
- 2.Pour well-stirred material into the hopper. Fasten the mortar hose, spray gun or grouting packer to the outlet of the main machine.
- 3.Before spraying, pressurize the air compressor to 6–8 kg (matching pump 0.26–0.36 m³), then install the nozzle.
- 4.Connect power, aim the spray gun at the hopper, adjust air volume and speed toachieve the best spraying effect. Keep air supply on when stopping the machine.
- 5.After proper adjustment, start spraying on the construction surface immediately.
- 6.Avoid long downtime when the hose is full of coating. In case of power failure, disconnect and clean the hose immediately.
- 7.If the pipeline is under pressure, cover it with a cloth before disassembly to protect your eyes from injury.
- 8.If the machine fails to start, first check if the electric drill is burnt out and replace it immediately.
- 9.Do not splash water onto the electric drill or electrical box during cleaning to avoid damage or electric leakage.
- 10.After daily work, thoroughly clean the hopper, hoses, spray gun and screw connectors.
- 11.If the discharge pressure becomes weak after long use, replace the screw pressure pump.
- 12.If material feeding stops suddenly while the drill is running, the nozzle is clogged. Stop the machine, clean the nozzle, then resume work.
- 13.The nozzle is a wearing part (same as the screw pressure pump). Standard nozzle diameter: 4 mm.Replace the nozzle immediately if atomization is not satisfactory.
